4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico, 100 miles east of Mexico City on the morning of May 5, 1862 under the command of Texas-born General Zaragosa. Napoleon detested the United States, which was involved in a civil war, and invaded Mexico 5 months earlier with the intentin to stay.

JAXS 7pm-10pm, Jam Session. There is no cover and all ages are welcome. HANK HIRSH QUINTET hosts this every Wednesday, SAM HIRSH is the quintets's piano player and he is... 17 years young. Next month the jam sessions will move to the 2nd floor which is the roof!
