Community Music Center- Summer Events in Portland

My family and I frequently use the services of the Community Music Center on Francis in SE Portland and here are some summer events that are full of music from the staff at the music school that I thought I'd pass along.

CMC Lobby. It is in a converted fire station on Francis Street.

Hurry! Registration will be closing soon for our summer classes and camps.
Activities include:
- String Fusion - new!

- Music Skills Camp (1/2 day)
- Early Childhood Music - age 6 mo. and up!
- Guitar in the Carter Style (teens and adults)

Chamber Music Northwest
- Master Class - Monday, June 30, 2 - 3:30 pm, Kaul Auditorium, Free
- Family Fridays at Catlin Gable School - Free tickets to kids age 7-18
when accompanied by a paying adult (all festival Fridays except July 4)..
- Open Rehearsals - Wednesdays at 11 am, July 2 - 23, Kaul Auditorium, Free
- Noon Concert - July 22nd at the Oregon Historical Society, 12 - 1 pm, Free
- Carnival of the Animals with Peter Schickele, Sunday, June 29, 2-3 pm.
