In For George Fendel / Jazz Interface Edition

When George's wife called and asked me if I'd cover his Sunday show, I was all over it. It is a pleasure to lay down the sounds for such a generous audience. The phone calls are encouraging and informative. I wanted to place a link that would be relevant to describe what George has done and is doing and I ended up with the link above. Click on the title of this post and it wil take you to a Google search results page. His contribution to the body of jazz in written form is extensive. If you don't believe me just click on the link! Thanks George.

Art Abrams (pictured below) finishing up his shift near 2PM. It is always a pleasure to see Art. Join Art every Sunday morning at 10AM following Traditional Jazz and Saturday evening for "Jukebox Saturday Night". He is a west coast working musician with unparalleled knowledge, much of it personal. As he always says, "This is Your Recorded Encyclopedia of Jazz".
