I have many fond memories of the people I worked with at KMHD.

I have been a long time listener online and was a KMHD Production and Air Talent from 1986 to 1989 before my exile to California.

Good Times are ahead for the KMHD crew.
Hopefully, if all goes well and my condo sells... I'll be back home looking for an airshift.

Shawn Clark aka The Other Shawn :)Shawn AKA The ShawnSHOWnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17905867.post-19937128337195059942009-07-23T14:05:31.567-07:002009-07-23T14:05:31.567-07:00Homer, I love your musical choices and of course, ...Homer, I love your musical choices and of course, Bob and Ray. Where possible, I'd like to hear you give credit to classical musical sources when used. For instance, just before the My Fair Lady selection, a vocal group (2 plus 2?)quoted an entire theme from Stravinsky's A Soldiers Tale. If they didn't mention that in the album notes, shame on them. Thanks for the music. It's probably from the early 70s but I can't find any mention of it. It's a couple of soul tunes with jazzy touches. To my mind the teamwork involved in this particular "30 minutes of fame" presentation was exceptional, & this is wonderful documentation including a great photo of Vince, Janet, Peter, & Sanya. I especially liked when Sanya explained why "In a Sentimental Mood" was meaningful to her parents & also Peter's recollection that he may have been asleep at the back of Artichoke Music during portions of the Tom Grant concert. He was correct. Tom acknowledged Pete from the stage as the child who in the future may well be wowing audiences touring with his violin, but who at the moment was asleep in his father's arms. Thanks again.

Brad MersereauAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
